equipment hire for the rogaine?

Dear organising team - will camping equipment (eg tents, eating utensils, chairs) be available during the rogaine? If it is available in some way it would be much easier with luggage, weight etc than transporting the gear from home. Thanks Chris

There are companies that hire hiking equipment (tents, sleeping bags etc) in Tallinn, Tartu and Otepää. We will post their contacts on the WRC home page, but we will also contact them directly and ask whether any of them would be ready to provide the service at the event center.

Particularly important for those from the opposite hemisphere is a compass. I would purchase a thumb compass (as was available at 7wrc). After 50 years of bushwalking in Australia, rarely using a compass, I find myself 180 degrees in error at northern latitudes - intuitively I am maintaining a bearing from the position of the sun!
